ok i'm here because... i'm not in the mood to write my script (again) hehe BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY because i just ended my mega hectic months since i graduated three years ago and i'm very proud of all that I've achieved :D so here's a look back at what i've done since june (which happens to unfortunately start with gonggong's passing) - three-month part-time writing course with the completion of "cannot" while juggling w the single mom story at work (and delayed submission cause no feels haha) - all the lectures, tutorials, presentations and going through versions and versions of script and bible - run trainings after taking a month+ of break in june, till the final completion of 21.1km in november - chatting up with strangers to expand my database of life and people and attending gatherings by myself despite being on tenterhooks haha - site visiting in korea and subsequently conceptualizing and writing the proposal/ppt for "shinhwa...

June - Sept 2019: Writerslab Knew it was gonna be tough juggling a part-time course and work the moment I signed up for it, but it turns out to be much more fulfilling than I imagined - and I’m amazed by how I stayed awake in every class even if I felt tired because every session engaged me with more knowledge and insights relevant to scriptwriting :> 真的耶，只要有興趣，再累都不累 . I love the energy of the class, the out-of-the-world creativity without constraints of censorship and budgets, and how every single story can be constantly improved by the ideas of many other people. Indeed, sky’s the limit and you’re only limited by the limits you set for yourself. Despite being pretty troubled by how the basis of my idea has been done before so many times, I’m proud to say it is now same same but different, and better, with the inputs of everyone - so thank you all! . Writing course 2019
有一點點神奇 在大學期間幾乎每次上學都要坐30號回家的路上 我今天又再坐了一次 但是這次是去參加課程結束的燒烤會 原本以為有事去不了 結果去得了又很猶豫該不該去 會不會尷尬 rsvp的時候改了一次又一次 結果為了不想讓自己當個逃兵 我答應去了 甚至提早去幫忙起火 比預期還遲離開 雖然不是最安逸的 但我也沒有一次聚會是安逸的啊 這已經算是很不錯的一次嘗試了 （我居然一個人參加聚會哈哈哈） In any case, the super hectic and busy 3 months have finally come to an end, but it was truly a very very rewarding journey where I pushed myself (though slacked at times too) to write and rewrite and rewrite Pretty satisfied with how the series bible and scripts eventually turned out - but there’s definitely always areas to improve more on Just really grateful that I’ve learnt and recapped so much more abt scriptwriting skills and had a coach/peers to look through the work and point out areas of improvement And some personal takeaways - - Stop going to the extremes (hahah coach finds my 18yo lead too childish cause she’s quite extreme in her reactions... but it keeps popping up till I said “I think I’m the immature one” cause I ...
Some updates from the past month(s) Clearly using photos to remind me what happened while I was lazy to type my diary Gonggong was hospitalised twice - once before my taiwan trip and one after I literally checked in to the hospital before and after the trip But thankful that while I was away The family members never failed to stay w him through this tough time - and they made the effort to do so so that my dad won’t stay in the hospital for too many hours and tire himself out from responsibility SF especially spent loads of time there - and here’s a picture that she drew while she was there 💓 Did two day-shifts at the hospital before I flew One of which was the day the feeding tube was inserted into him and I got so emotional about it cause I feared it would hurt and demoralize him But after I came back from toilet while the Nurses did the job (cause I wasn’t allowed to be beside) It’s all done - and the nurse ...

Last class of the year and it was awesome on a totally different aspect I always find that Writers are a really 悶騷 bunch of people, at least I definitely am Calm looking people with waves of emotions flowing in us every day and every moment Yet acting like we’re all chill and steady This course opened us up emotionally and physically Even though I still love to stick to my own spot and has issues raising my arms beyond certain levels But I would say it made me less self conscious and more willing to push the inner me outwards The music therapy is def sth I won’t forget From happy mornings, small towns, 原住民s, warfied, funeral/tombs, sparkles in forest nights etc The sadness that totally came from within the heart overwhelmed quite a number of us that we opened our eyes to see a number of teary faces At the end when we were resting w eyes closed, the coach said 謝謝妳這麼勇敢 現在就向來過你生命的他們好好地告別 Totally broke do...
