Much as this week was certainly not easy to get by and there are ppl that I rlly got upset with - teammate and weirdguy Not to mentiob how dad mom and grandma got unwell one after another that made it rlly worrying There are still joyful moments worth remembering  Like ahma being satisfied w my nail cutting skills for her despite being my first attempt at cutting someone else's nails  And contributing technical writing ideas during meetings because I truly believe scriptwriting is both creative and technical  And the successful presentation as we started w a v applicable movie trailer and I included many interactive segments that engaged the audience such that they praised us for job well-done after :)) Loved my new attempt and the class energy that bounced off during the presentation  Good job xiaowei!  - truly realised my strengths of being an empath, creative, and ex-business student hahah not to mention the increased ease comfort and confidence over the past...

Falling - The Last Challenge of Stage 1

Courage isn't about being fearless, but to try even if you're afraid. And so I tried, but chickened out at the last second HAHA I hereby conclude that I'm dead scared of free falls and idk when I'll overcome it - but let's keep trying, and hopefully i'll lose my sanity enough to make that plunge someday. That being said, still proud that I overcame the other parts of the high elements! Special thanks to hon who told me to grab the first rope for the first zipline (flying fox), which became my go-to solution for all subsequent ziplines hehe super grateful Tbh after seeing how high big zip was at  I'm pretty sure I would have scared out of my wits if I knew lol I clearly avoided thinking abt the height and whatnot so that I won't freak out lol (ok this is avoidance rather than facing your fears my dear - but still good try!!)  And thanks to xt and cheryl for agreeing to do w me ever so readily - even tho cheryl didn't know what she signed up for and wa...

First week turned out to have passed really fast and fun I didn't feel it at all hehe  Ok tbh I still wake up rlly late so there's a limited no of things that I get done  But there's a deadline to meet before the intensive course starts so I def have to get it done by then even tho I'm abit sian by the recent negative feedback  Anyway met the boss and pawnshop team for a meal as a way to mark the end of the show/project  Turned out to be a nice good chat w yummy food (had squid ink rice that made me look hilarious when I speak lol)  And we ordered desserts after that yay hehehe matcha soufflé 😍  Thanks to the boss - even tho I spoke loads of rubbish that might turned him off oops  And i met Jo to do work near her office on Tues after realizing sanity was close  Loved the environment and the matcha latte and petite cake  Def not forgetting the company such that we kept talking in btwn work we ha...
Felt like I needed a summary of the year in addition to the bits and pieces of memory that I treasure 2021 was a year of truly new experiences  Where I committed myself to a new phase of education despite all the uncertainties While I wanted it to be a chance for myself  I was also hesitatant about its applicability to work and career  Ultimately, I agreed to apply after sorting out my fears and concerns through repeated discussions w my parents (v supportive) and friends (doubtful)  And truth to be told, it didn't have the most direct impact to my jobscope  But it pushed me way beyond my usual area of expertise and exposure  And made me realise my potential way more than I believed  Perhaps, what I believed came through  Its not the result that counts; but the process of understanding yourself, giving your all, and pushing your limits that truly matter. It's a long way before the end  And I'm only a quarter through the journey  I've bee...

Loved how I spent the first day of the year with family that matters having fun doing new things albeit being rather tiring  Well it wasn't new in literal terms but finally to the zoo in along time - 15yrs for granny in her words :) Have been nagging abt the zoo since two years ago and finally made the trip there  But tbh I wasn't in a mood to appreciate it all but just wanted it to be fun and smooth for granny and the family   Which eventually - I realised that the joy that I brought to them (hopefully) matters more than whatever I saw or failed to see  I suppose granny and uncle appreciated the effort - even tho uncle had backache after a whole day of pushing the wheelchair and granny was surprisingly alert and insisted on dinner after that despite having lil sleep and starting the day at 10am haha  But I'm glad momma was happy w the plans and hopefully appreciated dad's effort in driving and engaging granny throughout too be it pushing the wh...
