As the year gradually approaches its end I can’t help but be amazed at how much I’ve learnt and pushed myself to do - prob the most initiated wei in many many years Work has been unfulfilling at its max But learning and improving is a great summary for the year filled w several courses Not to mention the two huge emotional dips that I had in April and September One with regards to work and One with regards to growing up 青峰快四十了還在習慣成長這件事 你也不要放棄在堅持的同時享受長大這過程 大家加油！

Read through some posts that I wrote during exchange when I travelled away from shanghai for 9 days and awwwwwww Super glad I made the effort to note down what happened cause I totally forgot abt them (esp small details that were rlly funny) Totally smiled at myself reading what ridiculous wei and her friends did in the past as though it wasn’t me at all hahahah Super sweet memories and encounters w everyone!! 💕
那天同事谈起她面试时被问到的问题 「 人生中做过最疯狂的事」 而我发现 我想不出真的很疯狂很疯狂的事 或许我比较不爱冒险 不肯做那些没有保障的事 但感觉好像白费了可以放肆无忧虑的少年时光 现在想一想 其实还有一件值得骄傲一点点的事 而那得感谢21岁的我曾断掉理智线 独自一人跑到几个别人视为危险的地区 傻乎乎却又那么坚持和冲动 当然我会那么做也是因为我不觉得这件事很危险（话说我在火车上居然睡死 —而知道我连夜搭车的父母在新加坡担心得睡不了觉） 除了没有语言障碍 不同地方也有接待我的（新）朋友 最主要也是因为我觉得应该没多少人会没事就拐带我那么大个的人（ok这句话听起来真的是初生牛犊不怕虎） 但跳脱舒适圈 我才有了我引以为傲的经验 但下一次那么无畏的自己又会在什么时候跳出来呢 我期待着 （不得不说 也很感恩我现在还好好活着 没被拐带走呵呵）
Time for reflections! Just finished 1 sitcom/drama and 1 variety course by the same coach, as well as 1 more scripting class by some hkg coaches I’ve got to say, chad’s classes are probably the best classes I’ve attended till date 👍 And so most of this post is on my takeaways from Chad’s classes We went through the foundations (that we always forget about) and looked at so many video clips that rlly expanded my worldview/scope of things Just to note whatever’s at the back of my head 6 storytelling elements = genre, premise (concise statements that sparks infinite no of conflicts and sets emotional & thematic functions of show), characters, conflict, story/story engine, vision/worldview STORY is KING = want (tangible & emotional) + obstacle + action + transformation CHARACTER(S) is KEY, set great characters with conflicting worldview/personalities and they will work in any situations Every scene and story idea should be motivated to 1) s...
Kinda trapped with work these days so some pointers on what happened before I forget all about them: Writing fr the Unscripted class One of the best class I’ve attended possibly due to the small class size and several hands on exercise The coach is so good I even said I accidentally said I can go be a variety writer to my boss lol Eason Chan’s 音樂分享會 He’s probably the ultimate display of be real, stay who you are, and never let the world put your innocence down Writing a VR piece for work Fun fun imagining how the various cgi will turn out hehe I think this job came at a great timing - just when I’m bored w the usual stuff and after i learnt and refreshed my understanding of shows through Chad’s classes Very happy with the concept I’ve churned out such that I’m proud of it without any recognition from other people (But the producer’s comment “I’m impressed” did give me a lot of joy and pride hahaha)
These two weeks are filled with courses, 3 to be exact, And while I feel tired about having to report to office at 930 for 8 weekdays straight I’m actually excited about learning stuff from the classes - and the first class on writing for variety shows turned out to be amazingly great woohoo 學習使我快樂！
