finished my grade 7 piano exam. and it's no longer a question of pass or fail, it's a question of how much i have failed by. it's time to wake up and i hope this is really going to strike me in my head that i should never wait till the last minute/week/month to buck up on my piano skills and attempt squeezing 1 year worth of work into one week. TWICE, it was nearly the same situation last year, only that this year is seriously much worse. and think about it, if others take 1 year to get a pass/merit/distinction, how superb must you be if you merely took less than a month? and the truth is, piano has never been a superb forte of mine.
