Sem1 上半場

late recap to the first half of my first semester in school :))))))

pretty lucky to have the first half coincide with the lull period at work since most of the scripts are settled w minor edits and the only workstress was the pitch that we needed to do

other than that it was really nearly full force into studying and i was so stressed about it i ate like less than half of my usual food intake in the first couple of weeks and lost 1-2kgs hahahah 

as i gradually got used to doing the readings and the amt of readings i had to do lol the engine finally got on track and my food intake went all the way back up hahah 

minimal runs this half with most of the exercise being on gonggong's stationary bike - so timely - while i read the scripts/readings at 12/2/3am lololol 

stamina became so horrible now though I barely made it to 4km one day and that's the maximum I could go with the other runs ranging from 2-3km only shrugs 

anw the new phone was so useful for readings w itz huge size and pen (just in time hehe)

and I met many new ppl and was in two v distinctly different groups this half that i keep telling ppl about if they ask how's school hehe 

3cc2c1m1i vs 3m2i1c ie me hahahah amazingggg it's a v new experience 

also impressed by the critical thinking skills of some classmates and the diligence and self-discipline of another - i think i made at least two friends that i wont feel uncomfortable reaching out to after this sem :))

while it was pretty exasperating to finish all the work but i'm glad that my planning worked out well (ie clearing a presentation in wk3 lol) and i did a term paper that was v based on a case from the office and a grp project on wfh 

love stretching my brains and getting ideas organized from a mess and realizing that my work has actually trained my brains into thinking from multiple perspectives and more critically than before  

also quite a fan of my profs for their engaging teaching style laidback/realistic views

not to mention how applicable the topics were for this half - keeps me awake :))

thankful for parents and jo who helped to make this semester a bearable transition to work-school wei too :D 

also, mega appreciation to the dialect team that I'll miss - ok already missing loads - for the past six months :D:D:D

never felt so chill and at ease in a team that i dont want the meetings to end lol 

not to mention 12-6pm meetings was amazing hahaha (it's efficiency ok - i also had more time to think through the storyplots and characters at night k hehe)

very appreciative of jl's acceptance and willingness to take in everyone's opinions 

and like f mentioned, 很多好的想法不是不合逻辑就去拒绝，是你要去想怎么让它又和逻辑又好看

and i love how we can talk about so many nonsensical ideas that get more and more ridiculous as each person add on to the discussion even tho we aren't gonna use them hahahahahah - but some weird ideas were actually adopted lol

the groupchat was also quite nonsense with the sticker spams and (lack of) replied to the other chatroom lol

it was just loads of fun and laughter even tho jl did most of the typing and lw did most of the talking hahahah

hands down the best team i've been in till date (Y)
