累，但快乐着。
Team Jojong strikes again 👧🏻👧🏻
Knowing that November is going to be tough and tiring, I contemplated giving this pet project up if not for the determined director jo ;) Ages since the last time we did a short film tgt, and the first time we’re doing this w a living human (thanks for helping us out w your great performance Yishun!) Glad that we’re doing something meaningful and thankful for the sharing sessions organised by smhff where I heard and learnt more about the less-known aspects of mental illnesses, as well as the important caregivers behind every struggling patient. Left Behind is for all caregivers out there, including my Uncle, whose efforts and sacrifices often go neglected when others focus solely on my grandma. And to everyone else, please remember to listen, to care, to be patient, and never leave them behind 🙏

It was painful to hear from a patient on how there is nothing his loved ones could do to help lessen the pain, and even more heart-wrenching to know that mental illness is a never ending cycle of diagnosis-treatment-recovery-relapse where caregivers suffer as much as the patient. For all that they have sacrificed, not to mention their unconditional love, our utmost respect 🙌

Was watching meitiren when I was preparing for the shoot, and the feature on Tc/ap was so timely cause I did a master rundown the following day haha - my first time planning a filming schedule and logistics like a team coordinator and figured I actually like it minus the liaising part hehe (caveat: it’s a 8min film unlike 20hrs dramas ha)

And as I watched the last ep ytd after submitting the short film, I figured that I may never be an ap now that I’m overaged, but I can produce our own shorts on things that i truly care about 🤗

it started with us having very different interpretations of what we wanted for the short film despite seemingly having the same consensus at marina macs
and my inability to meet up due to packed weekend schedules cost us a lot of time and dingdingdongdongs till we cleared up the air at tampines kfc
lol pretty worrying at how we had such varying interpretations
but glad it all turned out well!!
