Monday: 

Three things happened today that struck a few thoughts 

1. Reflection on our shows after hearing abt the entertainment production industry in Korea   

A colleague came back from a short exposure stint in Korea and shared w us on how Korean produces dramas and variety 

What impressed me most was the attitude and professionalism every single member of the production team has towards their work

From cameramen to artistes, writers to directors, everyone treats the show as their own, and makes ample preparation before they turn up for work 

Every detail is taken care of, and not a single minute is wasted for slip shod efforts 

While we lament about the lack of resources, budget, restrictions, talent, etc., there they are honing their skills futher to produce shows that can supersede their previous miracle

True that they have a lot more than what we do, but also a fact that they work better as a team to create better programs for the audience 

Even if we have 10x or 100x less resources than them, we can still make magic that sparkle and ignite the fire in our productions, 

So long as we believe,

So long as we work hard for it

2. Closing of studio 6

Attended the closing of the studio that is kept exclusively for Chinese drama 

And im pretty sure it's where many of my childhood shows were made at

While I can't feel the pain like the actors and crew

I was lucky enough to get two pictures w two of my childhood companions hahah

Just look at how approachable they are 😍

3. The passing of Mr S R Nathan

It was a pretty shocking news that came after the scare on Sunday's national day rally

Someone mentioned how kids from the 90s are likely to share a connection w him

And how right it is 

For the first president we kids come to know about 

And the grandad that we've all seen regularly in school halls and receptions 

Thank you, Sir, for the decades and life that you have sacrificed for our country, our home.

Our leaders have used their lives to defend our precious little homeland 

And I hope that my life can be useful enough to effect a positive change to my country in any possible manner

So that I can say with much pride that I'm a part of the country that they have protected, even if I'm less than a percentage comparable to them.


As for the other days,
work was spent on revising content for longform and subsequently work on the episode that I have to write as practice 
The work ended pretty quickly, now that I think about it
cause tuesday was free, wed and thurs was work, and fri was spent working in momma's office to 整理分场

Spent thurs night w the qtpies at buona's yomenya goemon 
yet heard some ridiculous and pretty creepy stories of their colleagues haha
have been thanking many friends lately for waiting for me lol 
guess such late-guilt will last for quite some time :P

met the remaining of the gr8 ppl on fri at paya after working on my fenchang
and realised im truly getting used to them when i start gorging myself even after they felt full lol
guess many of us have went through / been going through tough times in our own lives (okay i'm thankful that i'm not rlly right now)
so hang in there guys we can tide over anything and everything!! :) 

walked 10kmzxs around our area from 1 to 7 on sat hahahah
and all three of us ended up aching all over 
but shiokz :D 
then went to make an appointment for the graduation studio shoot before this idea becomes a thing of the past lol
(but it's damn expensive :() 
then to tcm for papa's treatment, cause his back ached for the whole day  
thought it was minor, but he ended up having to do accupuncture and massage cause 肌肉劳损
sighpiez
if only he is less workaholic and does less work
but it wouldn't be him if he's like that 
oh shrugs

alright, gonna work from home for three weekdays to finish the practice script this week
