increasingly being told to learn and act in a defensive way to prevent from being made used of
(especially the many suffer-in-silence moments after you felt like you were stupid to help others)
and gradually realizing that unfairness just seems to be the way the adult world works
but i'm still trying
with a conscious effort of trying to prevent from becoming as human as i should
and remain as child-like as i can stay
