我的父亲节，4月12日。

even though you will never, and i hope you never, see this,

happy birthday daddy :)

didn't do much this year, but we all know how hard life has been for you.
i have no idea how to put my concerns into words,
and even harder to express it for you to know,
but i truly hope that life will start being kinder,
and grandma will pull through the whole period of illness and emerge healthier than before.
it hurts to see her going through the pain,
but we all know how much it hurts you more even if you tried to act as though you'll accept whatever that comes.
family problems occurring every now and then over so many issues,
not to mention the constant worry you have over work and sustaining our income,
i just hope that i won't be any addons to the overwhelming burden that you have been carrying,
but a little support that can elevate any pain of yours.

thanks daddy for always always being a support, a shoulder, a pillar that i can always lean on,
stay strong, for both mummy and i will stay where we are and give you the support you need.

may this year be a better year for you ♥

i can't believe i'm actually tearing as i type,
but i guess it's just this tough period for him that has made me feel the ache :(
