"Are you okay?" "Yes", but no.

From The Pupil:

Angela (after crying):
Just don't ask me if I'm okay

I don't really like her attitude and actions in the show
but these words coincidentally suit what i was thinking before watching the show
hahaha cooooool.

whenever one asks "are you okay?" after knowing that one was feeling down
this person has to say "yes" even if they are not feeling okay
cause ironically, one has to give politically correct answers as they are not living in a world of their own.

and if that person says "no, i'm feeling real bad,"
what kind of reply is she gonna get?

likewise, the person who's concerned is expecting "yes" for an answer too isn't it?
so why ask?

butbutbut
i'm not claiming that everyone who asks this question ask it out of nothing
cause i know most of them ask it truly out of concern,
i'm just pointing out the irony that comes with this question
that's all

:) ms huda is soooooo efficient
manny thanks for her effort :D
