1921

Here's an attempt to recap 2021 as we move into the last half a month of the year  So memory's rlly pretty vague here (many events were recalled after checking the calendar haha) I remember trying to write abt what everyday was like in a journal book this year  And it somewhat worked for the first month... but eventually trailed off and ended there haha  Joined a neighbourhood community event in late Jan till mid Feb to think of solutions for municipal issues - which I found quite interesting to know abt like neighborhood disputes, secondhand smoke, littering, and other issues like feeding of strays etc - very real issues ppl face in daily lives  Even tho most solutions are a tad too simplistic for complex issues like these - but groundup initiatives are still great with passionate and encouraging volunteers!  Btw our issue on parking managed to get funding and kudos to the other team members who spent loads of time so that it could manifest into real life poste...

Yay hehehehe  Skated w moktard ytd and went from stadium to barrage!  Prob fell about 10 times throughout- with three on the back but urgently broke the fall with my hand or to my side  But picked myself up time and again to continue and make my way to sataybtb woots  More stable than before, but still found it hard to balance for more than three strides  But managed to glide instead of taking every step step by step  And went up some gentle slopes - and I could prob go up slightly steeper ones if I had a lil more guts And managed to go down gentle slopes with falling yay!  Super thankful for mok who patiently waited for me - esp when I had to untie or research my skates - and she kept turning ard to check on me and encouraging me aww She offered to hold me but I ended up falling and pulling her down hahahahah  And so happy that she conquered two steep slopes fr the first time! More imptly  I'm actually loving ytd session because ...

Perhaps  Some things just aren't meant to be  Like how some people just aren't meant to meet  And some interactions are just meant to be once, and never again 

A get-together for all 6 of us at Ni's after a super long time  And ci got us logcake after being late for an hour as she forgot paya has shops that sell logcake too hahah Missed this bunch! 

Christmas eve was spent walking again hehe  Left at 2/3pm and made a stop at klp for some food refill lol  Then made some ntuc purchases  And trained to MBS for lunch/dinner after 45mins wait hehe  Mega yumz ^^  And I finally did a run after 2 weeks of hiatus due to the fall from skating  Much slower than before but at least the butt no longer hurts :))  And Christmas spent doing work w dad! Haha  But only a short amt of time actually keke Spent the bulk of it on booking zoo tickets using the vouchers for 1jan!  After nearly 2 years of talking abt it  I'm finally going to see the animals hehe yay! 

Haven't met them in such casual settings in a long long while  And it was def a great time seeing how they bicker and complain and whine and laugh about everything we faced at work hehe My career started out with them  And I'm ever so thankful it did! 🥰

Today's task:   Tour guide for the 31st anniversary of the precious two that brought me to the world  Leaving the car at home for the first time in a long while except the days when we are out for walks!  From taking buses to ICA  Then mrt to buffet town which we was full  To peach garden at raffles place which had salty food and slow service as the kitchen seemingly forgot abt our order  Then to dhoby for a spontaneous movie of American girl (& mom to nap haha) And settling her phone contract  And placing an order for crabs which arrived the same time as when we got back  To a night of lion moms and yummy crabby dinner  Much as it was an anniversary celebration foe them It was also a day for me to show my gratitude towards the two lovely souls that loved me so well  Thankyou papa and momma 💖
