一名收破爛的老人不小心劃破了一年輕女子的牛仔褲，因拿不出對方要求的50元賠償，老人下跪十次。
老人手裏只有8元零4毛.
當記者趕到德外大街高等教育出版社門口發現，一個穿灰色羽絨服的中年婦女正在推搡一名衣著破爛的老人，嘴裏喊著：「趕緊賠錢！」周圍上百名路人圍觀。

旁邊站著一名20歲左右的女子，藍色牛仔褲腿處被劃開了一條兩三厘米長的口子。被推搡的老人噙著淚水不停地懇求著，手裏捏著一疊毛票，總共8元零4分。

「不就破一個小口子嗎，至於這樣為難人家嘛。」看著下跪的老人，旁觀路人紛紛勸說「得饒人處且饒人」。面對路人的指責，中年婦女毫不在意，堅決要讓老人賠錢。

面對「巨額」賠償老人下跪．

據瞭解，當時這對母女走到高等教育出版社附近的路口處，剛好老人騎三輪車拐彎，車上的鐵絲將年輕女子的褲子刮了一個小口。女子的母親要求老人賠她50元。無奈之下，老人「撲通」一聲跪下，不想對方絲毫沒有反應，老人連續下跪十次。

這一下把圍觀的群眾惹怒了，在附近大廈當保安的武先生憤怒地說：「對待這樣一個年邁的老人，她們真是欺人太甚。」說完，他將口袋裏的23元錢塞在老人手裏。

記者試圖採訪這對母女時，該中年女子說：「甭理她。」

路人為老人湊錢賠償．

在老人懇求和解未果的情況下，中年婦女最終撥通110報警。5點50分左右，德外派出所的民警趕到現場進行調解，但該中年婦女認為賠償的錢不夠，拒絕和解。這時，圍觀群眾自發掏出錢來，一元、兩元、十元……最後湊夠了50元。

老人再次向圍觀群眾下跪，並不斷地說：「謝謝，謝謝。」中年女子拿到錢後，拉著女兒一聲不吭離開了
。
當時圍觀的群眾紛紛表示賠償50元的結果對老人不公平。民警也表示無奈，稱這是民事糾紛，他們只能充當調解人的角色

同樣是人，為什麼要踐踏他人的尊嚴呢?！

Packed my stuff today (even though it looks like it has been untouched ._____.)
and as I was abt to start packing dhs stuff (as in friends notes etc)
I felt as though I am gonna go relive those time again,
Just that are only going to be memories from the moment I keep it in the cupboard.

went back to school ytd with zhiting and had a talk with jane and boony while we are there :)

always wanted to walk back from kampong arang bus stop,
and i finally got to go back :)

yet, it's all different.
classrooms are better-equipped (all air-conditioned :O)
teachers are either promoted or out of the school
students are, definitely, no longer the familiar faces.

I sat on the bench that was by the side of city hall station and noticed how people react to the train opposite theirs, which they are about to transit to.
Some ran, chiong-ed seems more appropriate, while some took their time to stroll to their side
But that does not mean they are taking the flight of the opposite train lightly
They merely assumed that the train door will not close since others were going in before them.
Can you imagine how panic they might be if the door suddenly closed?

loadssssssss happened this year - especially in the featured class of 6C11 of 2011 ;)
i have so many things to thank many people for, and yet unable to get about it
so i'll just have to try, even if i happen to leave some people/stuff out
better some than none right ;)

parents, teachers, friends, and everyone else who inspired me in a way or another :)
and bearbear ;) for supporting me through the whole prelims and a levels period :)

the greatest reward for this year would be discovering, or rather, realising, my love for fiction - drama, stories, theatre, lyrics, etc :)
it's a late realisation during these few days but i find that this love for it summed up and shaped me into who i am today :)
that said, i wanna thank all teachers for exposing me to so much more knowledge than i'd ever known @Ms Huda @Johnny @Mr Loh @Ms K @Mr Chiang @Ms Soh @Mr Koh @卢老师 @郑老师
and special thanks to 黄老师 for initiating the weekly 文学手札 that ignited my passion for writing and sharpen my sensitivity :)

highlight of this year - A levels.
and my greatest rewards - friends :)

我被撼動、被康南的遭遇刺得心痛、被事事難料的真實感到無奈，

雖然江雁容讓我感到親切，她的事跡讓我疼惜，但我不願如她，因為她的愛，雖然真摯深刻，但卻會動搖。

這是一本值得人們再三回味的書，而它以年輕的江雁容為主線，展示了青春的美，也展現了愛的不可分割、不可均分，一旦真愛了就不能忘的特徵。
這80000字，真實的觸動了我的心弦。

from 5 march:

yesterday was a big day.

i guess i'm too bad with words to type what i want to say
but really, it's a bad time but you still have us around.
it may sound stupid, it may even sound useless since we can't do anything
but we're with you.
and i think this overrides all the common phrases like "all the best", "jiayou", "it's gonna get better"
cause we know, that it's a tough road out there.

it certainly, was a great great wake up call.

we can't change whatever that has been done
but it can be a time that you do what you can to make it better
next year, it will be our turn.
and what would you like this post to be?
screwed up? great success? or simply, i did my best.

then again, really really proud of E4 even though i'm non-existent
great brains he has :)

the little talk ms ng gave us at the end of the day was certainly enlightening
for me, at least.
she really pointed out a fact that teachers and students ourselves are unwilling to acknowledge

刀大最值得我們學習的不是他寫的小說有多棒或他拍的電影有多屌
而是那有話就說不存著心機掩飾自己的個性

過於刻意地雕塑藝術倒不如突發奇想的真實感受

柯景騰失利了，但他的作品可是奇蹟的見證呢：）

對於那些批評那些年說劇情普普通通的人
我只想說在你不瞭解那些年的創作意圖前請不要亂做抨擊
那些年畢竟時刀大的青春記錄是盡可能地照真實故事發展的電影
真實不是虛構又能有多麼精彩？
何況刀大並沒有要讓電影如此的火紅只是很單純地想為他的夢想努力
最終的成功和大家的認可不就是因為這是觀眾可以產生共鳴的作品嗎？
